Plant Based Diets

Less Meat,
Beef to Poultry
Can't imagine living without bacon? Are cheeseburgers your favorite way to celebrate a warm summer day? Aim for less, not zero meat! If a recipe calls for 1 lb of chicken, make the dish with 1/2 lb. Try substituting ground turkey for ground beef. Institute a meatless Monday tradition. Less is definitely more when reducing carbon emissions.

No Meat,
Dairy OK
While the art of meatless chick'n, "don't be a piggy," impossible burger, and other faux-meats have come a LONG way in the past few decades, other plant-based dairies are still not quite up to snuff for some of us. If eggs, cheese, yogurts, and other dairy products are a must, go vegetarian!
